„DIGI-INCLUSION – Leaving no-one behind in a digital world” – conference
The DIGI-INCLUSION project focused on ensuring that cities’ digital transformation was fair and accessible by providing access to technology and strengthening digital skills and the ability to use digital services.
The results of the project, developed jointly with the international teams of experts, have been included in the Integrated Action Plan. In addition, we present a toolbox for cities (playbook) created by the experts of the international DIGI-INCLUSION network (Ian Graham and Ed Thorpe).
The conference summarizing the project “DIGI-INCLUSION – leaving no-one behind in a digital world” is held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 8:30-13:30 in the STARTER building at 3b Lęborska Street in Gdansk. The conference is aimed at representatives of local governments, NGOs and all those involved in the development of local communities and digital education.
The conference will be moderated by Filip Jedruch (Radio Gdansk and Sektor 3.0 Foundation).
In the program:
- A lecture by Dr. Grzegorz Stunza (University of Gdansk) On the new dimensions of digital exclusion.
- Presentation of the PLAYBOOK toolbox and specific solutions developed for Gdansk.
- A presentation by Dr. Piotr Wasyluk on Digital inclusion as a public service and digital competence in the age of artificial intelligence.
- Presentation of good practices of local organizations, such as NOVA Foundation, Gdansk Foundation for Social Innovation and Senior Information and Animation Center.
Nine partners collaborated in the international DIGI-INCLUSION network (Mollet del Vallès – leader, Jelgava, Alexandroupolis, Torres Vedras, Iași, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Lepida/Bologna region, Zenica-Doboj canton and representing Gdansk: Gdansk Entrepreneurship Foundation).
The project “DIGI-INCLUSION – leaving no-one behind in a digital world” was implemented under the URBACT IV Program (European Territorial Cooperation – ERDF).
