Challenges of the blue economy – announcement for schools
We invite classes from Gdansk secondary schools to free meetings (educational activities combined with study visits; 1 meeting for 1 class from 1 school) as part of the pilot project “Challenges of the blue economy”.
The aim of the project is to expose young people to the local job market in the maritime industry and the possibility of planning their career path in the area of the blue economy (blue economy), as well as to improve entrepreneurial competence and develop practical skills such as critical thinking, creativity, problem solving and teamwork.
The meeting will cover the issues of working in the maritime industry and the challenges currently facing business in this area (for example: employment structure, employment opportunities, professional aptitude, diversity of positions).
The meeting consists of:
– a study visit to the Port of Gdansk
– educational classes (workshop part) in the Starter Incubator directly after the study visit – we provide transportation to the Port and to the Starter Incubator.
The entire meeting is scheduled for 6 class hours (4.5 clock hours including transportation).
Deadlines: end of October – November 2025
