Business Innovathon as part of Starter Student HUB projects
The Business Innovathon is a unique event for students who want to try their hand at creating startups and working on real business challenges. It’s an intense day full of creative teamwork, inspiring meetings with experts and a chance to present your solution in front of a professional jury. During the event, students will work in teams, developing innovative business ideas that respond to real challenges posed by cooperating companies.

For whom. For students who:
want to gain practical experience in building a startup
dream of their own business and want to see what the process of creating innovative projects looks like
are creative, like to solve problems and create new solutions
want to learn from the best and develop their competence in practice
What will it look like?
Working in teams – participants filling out the application form will be divided into groups and will work on a specific business challenge (you’ll know your groups before the Innovathon!)
Mentors – teams will be able to count on the support of an experienced mentor – student(s) who will mentor the group and help them through the entire process of creating a business
Expert support – teams will be able to consult their ideas with experienced experts who will help them refine the concept.
Pitching in front of a jury – each group will present its solution in front of a jury, which will choose the best idea

Goal: Solve the challenge!* (*BYOL– bring your own laptop!).
PROGRAM OF THE DAY:
8:30 a.m. – registration of participants
9:00 a.m. – welcome and introduction to Innovaton (brief introduction to MBC)
9:30 a.m. – formation of teams, assignment of mentors
9:45 a.m. – work on innovation | opportunity to consult with experts
13:00 a.m. – short lecture on pitching
15:00 a.m. – presentation of solutions to the jury | each team has 5 minutes
16:00 a.m. – announcement of results | conclusion
