Magdalena Wójtowicz
Graduate of Romance Philology as well as Finance and Banking. The manager with broad experience in an international technology and education environment. Since 2017, the Management Board member of the Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Foundation, where she leads projects supporting entrepreneurship and startups. A leader passionate about people, education, and change - responsible, loyal, full of energy. Privately - a lover of dance and motorcycles.

Dariusz Słodkowski
Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk. A manager with many years of experience in strategic management as well as team and project management. A hands-on practitioner in running a business and a promoter of innovative solutions. Privately, a lover of Gdańsk. Since 2025, Vice President of the Management Board of the Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Foundation, responsible for the efficient operations of the Commercialization and Technical Departments.

Establishment of the Gdansk Entrepreneurship Foundation
Gdansk Entrepreneurship Foundation is established - with a mission to support the development of local companies and economic initiatives. Since the beginning, its focus has been on Pomeranian entrepreneurs and responded to their daily challenges, helping them to grow and expand their business.
The new premises - Incubator Starter building
The Incubator Starter headquarters is a response to the growing needs of the local market and entrepreneurs. It is a modern place that combines business and creativity, becoming a centre for the development of innovative projects, startups and initiatives that support the economy of Gdansk.
Education as a pillar of development
The introduction of educational activities reinforces GFP's mission. Education around entrepreneurship is becoming an integral part of Starter’s activities—from workshops and training sessions to programs for young people and adults that teach how to grow a business with purpose and responsibility.
Combining business and education
We create a great space for the exchange of knowledge and experience. Starter’s activities are evolving toward synergy between the business world and education. Joint initiatives between entrepreneurs, mentors and educational institutions are opening up new opportunities for growth and collaboration - for companies, students and innovators.

Starter today operates on a project-based model, flexibly responding to the market needs. We work with local, national and international partners, creating a network that inspires the next generation of entrepreneurs. Through workshops, trainings and pilot projects, we test effective solutions to support the development of Gdansk's business and economy. The synergy of different backgrounds - business, education and local government - ensures that Starter remains one of the most important centres for supporting entrepreneurship in the region.
The Gdansk Entrepreneurship Foundation was founded by Pawel Adamowicz - The Mayor of Gdansk.
Our founder – the City of Gdansk – is based on openness, free flow of people, goods and thoughts. Gdansk is a harbour – always hospitable, open to change, to new challenges and opportunities.
The slogans identified with Gdansk – freedom and solidarity – are not just high-flown ideas, but concrete actions that follow them. In accordance with traditional values and with humility towards the challenges of the future, Gdansk always bets on the development of its residents.
